JOANN JORDAN JOHNSON

JoAnn Jordan Johnson, 69, of Wilmington, NC, stepped into Glory Thursday, January 19, 2006, after a courageous health battle.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Harold T. Johnson; loving daughter, Laura Thompson and her husband Mark; granddaughter, Sophie Katherine Thompson all of Wilmington, Addie L. Johnson mother in law; sister, Lillie Pearl Clark and husband Alton “Bubba” Clark; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Lucille Jordan.

She was a resident of Wilmington and was a loyal member of Pine Valley Baptist Church for many years. JoAnn was an all around good time girl and loved her family and friends with a passion, thinking of them more often than herself.

The family will receive friends 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM Sunday, January 22, 2006 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home. Celebration of her life will be 11:00 AM, Monday, January 23, 2006 at Pine Valley Baptist Church. Interment Greenlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Boys and Girls Home, Lake Waccamaw, NC.
